In 2017, I was a clairvoyant offering psychic medium readings coming into my third year of offering services as a reader and energy healer through Keene Intuition. I had a vision of a fun loving retail space to bring healing to my community in Keene, NH; A place where people can find tools of self healing, feel uplifted and connect with other like-minded individuals in downtown Keene, New Hampshire.
That vision blossomed when I came across 35 Main Street, former home of the Apothecary for over fifty years! In 2018, I opened Soul Emporium alongside my family and friends. We painted, found used furnishings and put together an aesthetic that was warm and welcoming. Soul Emporium has evolved over the years and is now a metaphysical gift store. “Come happy. Leave happier” is the store mantra! As the inventory grew, the business grew and I found the shadow work merchandise didn’t seem to fit into our soulful uplifting selection.
This is where Shadow Emporium came to life. Shadow Emporium is the retail store that opened in January of 2021 two doors down. “Through the shadows we find our light” is our mantra for Shadow Emporium and I truly believe in shadow work helping us uncover repressed feelings, thoughts and memories so we can accept and heal our shadow, bringing it into the light.
Brattleboro is set to host two captivating events featuring the renowned hip-hop artist Killah Priest and acclaimed visual artist John Newsom.
