Live Script Screenplay Reading | The Trouble with Harry | Hitchcock? Vermont? One-night-only?

THE TROUBLE WITH HARRY: A LIVE SCREENPLAY READING

Friday, October 23 | 7 PM | Latchis Theatre, Brattleboro

Hitchcock came to Vermont. Made a film. Made some trouble. Now, 70+ years later, Vermonters are revisiting his delightfully strange dark comedy in a one-night-only live screenplay reading. The cast includes NPR favorite Tom Bodett, Homegoings creator Myra Flynn, comedian Willy Appelman (Bring the Funny), PBS’s Chris Dorman (Mister Chris and Friends), filmmaker Jeanine B. Frost, multidisciplinary artist Candice Taylor-Diallo and Vermont Public reporter Howard Weiss-Tisman.

Largely unrehearsed and entirely unrecorded, this playful evening celebrates the screenwriter’s words, unexpected interpretations and happy accidents of live performance. Presented by On Goldfish Pond Creative’s Hollywood, VT series.

Tickets $20–$50 | www.latchis.com/feature
