Meet the Makers of the Putney Craft Tour

Now in its 47th year, the Putney Craft Tour is Vermont’s longest-running open-studio celebration, inviting visitors to explore more than two dozen working studios across Putney and Westminster West.

From molten glass and hand-spun yarns to jewelry, painting, and woodwork, the tour showcases the heart of Vermont’s creative culture β€” where craftsmanship meets community. Visitors can watch demonstrations, ask questions, and purchase one-of-a-kind gifts directly from the artists who make them.

Meet potters like Joshua Gold and Ryan Burch, jewelers like Jaja Laughlin and Allison Korn, painters Judy Hawkins and Nancy Calicchio, and glass artists Robert Burch and Julia Brandis. Each brings their own story, materials, and mastery to this uniquely Vermont experience.

Held annually over Thanksgiving Weekend, the Putney Craft Tour offers a joyful mix of artistry, storytelling, and small-town warmth.
