Prerequisite:Â The Table Saw 101 OR Milling Rough Lumber OR equivalent experience
The table saw is a versatile and powerful tool, used for ripping, cross-cutting, making angled cuts in wood, cutting joinery elements, and more. This is the second part in a 3-part series learning how to safely and confidently use this essential woodshop machine.
Learn. Topics covered in this intermediate session are:
- Basic joinery like dados and rabbets
- How to use a tenoning jig
- How to use a simple jig for working with patterns and oddly-shaped pieces
- Using stops and sacrificial fences
- Lots of hands-on practice
