The Hills of Wrath: Documentary & Rhône Wine Seminar!

In the legendary domain of winemaker Christine Vernay, men and women work the steep slopes of Côte-Rôtie and Condrieu in harmony with the seasons. Together, relying on the strength of their arms, they strive to preserve this exceptional vineyard while facing the challenges of climate change.

Doors for the Rhône Wine Seminar open at 6:00 PM, with tasting at 6:15 PM. Doors for the film open at 7:00 PM; the screening begins at 7:15 PM.

The Hills of Wrath (Les Chaillées de l’Enfer, 102 minutes, 2025) includes a special introduction by director Léo Boudet. The documentary follows the winemakers of Domaine Georges Vernay as they work narrow, steep slopes in all weather, producing top-quality organic wine in a place where wine-growing was once considered unimaginable.

Before the film, an optional Rhône wine seminar and tasting is available for an additional $25 per person, with light snacks and limited seating. The tasting is led by Epsilon Spires board member Rob Forman, a nearly 40-year veteran of the fine wine and spirits profession.
