OCT32026
1:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Learn to make perfect pie crust! This class will start with the basics of making crust from scratch. We will then roll and assemble both savory and sweet open-faced pies using fruit from Scott Farm. Learn about great sweet savory combos (apple & onion & Gouda, cheddar, apple butternut squash, spiced peach & plum, poached pears, etc.). Participants will take home their pies and extra dough.

What to bring: Scott Farm will provide all the ingredients for the pies as well as baking and other kitchen utensils for attendants. Please bring an apron and a container to bring your pies home.

Instructor Bio: Ruby McAdoo is a seasoned chef, trained at the Institute of Culinary Education in New York City, and working for many years at Burdick’s Restaurant and in their pastry kitchen. Though she has hung up her chef’s hat, she loves to share her cooking and baking knowledge.
