Fascia is the connective tissue of the body which holds all our bones, organs and muscles in place. It functions as our shock absorption system and the “highway” that signals, energy, emotions and memory travels through. When the fascia is tight it can put up to 2000 lbs per square inch of pressure on delicate structures that affect many systems. Dani has been helping clients with a wide range of disfunction, misalignment and chronic pain patterns for over 9 years in great part through Myofascial release (MFR).

Come learn about the Fascia and how you can work with it yourself.

Lab #1 MFR principles and Pelvic Alignment

Learn the simple yet affective foundational principles of working with the fascia. In this theory the Pelvis is the foundation of the body. If it’s out of alignment it affects everything above and below. Learn and practice how to check your own and others’ alignment by looking at three different places on the hips. Once assessed we’ll go over basics of how to reset your pelvis through simple movements and stretches.

Lab #2 Review and Rebounding

In this lab we’ll review pelvic alignment and learn more ways to correct it through isometric engagement, working with the psoas, etc. Additionally I’ll be teaching another of the 3 foundational practices of MFR called Rebounding.

Lab #3 Unwinding and Open Lab

For the final lab I‘ll teach unwinding the last foundational principle of MFR and we’ll do an open lab. Bring what ails you. Where does it hurt? Or what do you notice is often out of alignment? One shoulder higher than another, pain in your left foot, jaw tension….We’ll use our own bodies and issues in real time to learn and apply tools that create change.

The labs are sequential.
