Downtown Brattleboro’s Gallery Walk returns on May 3rd, and you won’t want to miss it! Nothing combines Art + Community like Gallery Walk, which is right in downtown’s heart.
This season, Gallery Walk will run from May through December, with a few things to note. Every first Friday from 5-9 pm, we hope you’ll swing down to Downtown Brattleboro for galleries, live music, food trucks, Brattleboro Flea, and interactive art stations. You never know what will pop up or who you’ll see at Gallery Walk! For months, May-Oct, we will close Elliot Street and Harmony Lot to traffic, and we can all enjoy a block party that is ALL about art & community. For Nov & Dec, it’s all about the galleries and the stellar exhibits they have planned for you! No raindate this year- Gallery Walk is rain or shine.
DBA (Downtown Brattleboro Alliance) has a new office! You can find us at 57 Elliot Street, the old Artrageous location. DBA is tasked with keeping downtown VIBRANT through programs like Gallery Walk, The Bloom Program, and more. Visit us at brattleboro.com or stop in and say hello—we can’t wait to meet you! Every month at Gallery Walk, we partner with BDCC for the Welcome Wagon at our new office, a mixer for new VT residents with light refreshments and mingling.

As tradition demands, one piece of the May Gallery Walk pie strolled from gallery to gallery, enjoying their world-class exhibits. They are all walkable downtown. We have 16 stops on the list, each open to the public and free to attend.

May’s Music: Katie Von Schleicher—Brooklyn-based songwriter Katie von Schleicher layers lush instrumentation and wry lyrics on her new album, A Little Touch of Schleicher in the Night.
“Exquisitely melancholy chamber pop can feel like a lost art these days. Not when Katie’s in the house.” – Rolling Stone
Local favorites Beetsblog open the concert.
