- Marshall Crenshaw – Born in Detroit in 1953, Crenshaw’s career launched in 1978 when he starred as John Lennon in “Beatlemania” before stepping into New York’s vibrant rock scene. With hit singles like “Something’s Gonna Happen” and “Someday Someway” recorded by Robert Gordon, Crenshaw’s distinct blend of rockabilly and power pop captured audiences nationwide. Over four decades, Crenshaw has released 13 albums, earned Grammy and Golden Globe nominations, and starred as Buddy Holly in La Bamba. Currently, he’s touring and working on a documentary about famed record producer Tom Wilson, showcasing his passion for both music and storytelling.
- James Mastro – Known for his extraordinary skill and sonic inventiveness, Mastro has toured globally with rock icons like Ian Hunter, Patti Smith, and John Cale. With influences from David Bowie to Mick Ronson, his recent album Dawn of a New Error captures his love for Americana-rock. Mastro’s journey from sneaking into clubs as a kid to performing on stage with his heroes reflects his lifelong dedication to music.
