The Next Stage Bandwagon Summer Series and Twilight Music present an evening of brass-fueled, swinging music of New Orleans by the Soggy Po’ Boys, on Sunday, October 8 at 3:00 pm at West River Park in Brattleboro, VT.
Three performers this evening!
Donald McCullough – The “Local Music Showcase – Brattleboro” is Donald’s brainchild, so every once in a while he likes to step up and perform a selection of his own, lyrics-forward original songs, and perhaps a few, hand-picked covers. Given the INCREDIBLE level and variety of talent we have right here in our community, he firmly believes that Brattleboro should be a Music Destination Town, far more than it already is! And if, by lifting up and showcasing all this wonderful talent, every once in a while, a few folks come out to listen to some of his tunes – well, that’s just icing on a big, and beautiful, and DELICIOUS cake!
Zack Danziger – Mad Guitar Skills! – three words that sum up the genre-defying style of this exceptional performer and music educator. Zack is a prolific songwriter, so you’re bound to hear some wildly original songs in one of his sets. He’s also been known to rework and reword the occasional ‘classic’ song, to give them a more irreverent delivery. Then, when he gets down to the serious business of playing, his knowledge of, and skills around the fretboard become more than apparent. It’s guaranteed to be an engaging and energetic set!
Jim and Tom – These two solid performers will finish out the night, bringing you one of their mind-bending Pink Floyd sets. If you haven’t seen them perform yet, rest assured, you need to! If you HAVE seen them perform, then you already know, you need to see them again!
There’s NO COVER charge. The food at Bar 580 is great, and reasonably priced, with a full bar, and an huge selection of craft beers on draft! If the weather is nice, there’s an entire wall of glass that slides open, onto a vast, outside seating area! There’s literally no better way, and no better place, to spend a Thursday evening!
