Joe Jencks Benefit Concert

NOV72026
7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
All Souls Church

It is fitting that the person who wrote “Lady of the Harbor” should sing a benefit concert for refugees and asylum seekers. So Joe Jencks will perform Nov. 7 at 7 p.m. at All Souls Church to benefit CASP and the ECDC.

Jencks is a 25-year veteran of the international folk circuit, an award-winning songwriter, and celebrated vocalist based in Chicago, IL, but traveling the world over.

November 7 will be the Saturday after the election when we all could use some song. Tickets are $25 and available online at http://www.ascvt.org/JoeJencks

The Community Asylum Seekers Project (CASP) is dedicated to welcoming and supporting asylum seekers in Southern Vermont, ensuring they have access to safety, stability, and the resources needed to rebuild their lives.

ECDC VT provides essential resources, case management, and community connections to help refugees find their footing and foster a lasting sense of belonging in their new rural homes.

Merging conservatory training with his Irish roots and working-class upbringing, Joe delivers engaged musical narratives filled with heart, soul, groove, and grit. Joe is noted for his unique merging of musical beauty, social consciousness, and spiritual exploration. Blending well-crafted instrumentals and vivid songwriting, Joe Jencks serves it all up with a lyric baritone voice that has the edgy richness of a good sea-salt caramel.

Having penned several #1 folk songs, including the ever-relevant Lady of The Harbor, Joe has become a fan favorite throughout North America and is the co-founder of harmony trio, Brother Sun. Joe also toured the Caribbean with the U.S. State Department as a Cultural Ambassador.
