Come to the Governor Hunt House (322 Governor Hunt Road, Vernon VT) on July 8, 2023 at 2pm for an afternoon of never-before-shown historical images of Vernon and Brattleboro of days gone by AND help us identify them!
The Photo committee of the Wardsboro History Group, in collaboration with Brattleboro Historical Society and Vernon Historians, will present these digitized glass plates from the estate of Thomas Johnson donated by his widow Barbara Johnson.
The Wardsboro Photo Group has digitized thousands of glass plates since its inception in 1992. They have shown the Dummerston related photos of their collection already in Dummerston, now it’s Brattleboro and Vernon’s turn to help identify photos. Come join the fun and enjoy homemade refreshments as well!
Free and open to the public.
