The Next Stage Bandwagon Summer Series and Twilight Music present an evening of brass-fueled, swinging music of New Orleans by the Soggy Po’ Boys, on Sunday, October 8 at 3:00 pm at West River Park in Brattleboro, VT.
Let us help make your child Bullyproof!
In this seminar/intro class, we will introduce your child to some of the basic skills of Jiu-Jitsu, both physical and verbal, through a series of games and drills that keep learning fun!
The Gracie Bullyproof® program teaches your child to use verbal assertiveness to deter bullies and several non-violent self-defense techniques to stay safe if physically assaulted.
Importantly, we don’t teach how to punch or kick, since this often does more harm than good. Instead, we use leverage-based control holds to neutralize threats without violence. The bottom line is: we will prepare your child to defend themselves against bullies without turning them into one.
This event is open to children from 5–12 years old, and will introduce some of the techniques, drills, games, rules of engagement and character development topics that are featured both in our Little Champs (5–7) and Jr. Grapplers (8–12) programs.
At the end of class, kids will enjoy an exciting game of dodgeball while I discuss our programs with interested parents. There will be a special new student offer that will be exclusive to those who attend this event!
THE TRAINING SESSION IS FREE, BUT YOU MUST RESERVE YOUR SPOT! You may reserve your spot by clicking “going” and by contacting us via messenger or at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please feel free to contact us with questions!
