Start the dark season with a little light, here at Setu Vermont as we celebrate the Indian New Year!
Our Diwali Celebration starts at 4pm with an Indian sweet making demo and henna (called mehendi in India). A special Indian feast will be served all with home cooked items, featuring North Indian spices, rices and lots of conversation about what is served on Diwali. Try your hand at rangoli (sand painting), reset your mind with a sound meditation, experience lantern making and lighting, and enjoy chai fireside.
All ages welcome!
No experience with Diwali or India necessary.
