David Murphy – For My Peeps brings funk, jam, and electronic music to the Stone Church.

David Murphy is a bassist and synth player and a founding member of the pioneering electronic/jam band STS9. After 17 years with the group, Murphy returns with a renewed musical vision rooted in the spirit of early STS9 while moving into new solo territory.

His instrumental performances draw from artists including Nine Inch Nails, Daft Punk, Pink Floyd, Tame Impala, and Herbie Hancock & the Headhunters. The live band features Kevin Donohue of Sunsquabi, Scott Hannay of Mihali, and Rohan Prakash of Rohan Solo.

For My Peeps is ultimately about connection: bringing longtime listeners and new audiences together through rhythm, energy, and shared experience.
