Through the coordination of breath and movement a qigong practice can increase energy levels, lower blood pressure, reduce stress and pain. Come learn some basics to get your practice started and see if qigong is right for you. If you’ve been coming to these classes you will be able to deepen your practice and learn new forms. There will be 6 sessions meeting on Saturdays, starting September 9th at 10:00 at the South Newfane Schoolhouse. There will be no class on October 7th. These classes are offered for $10/session.
Instructor Marcia Hylan is a certified qigong instructor practicing for 8 years and is excited to share this practice with others.
Wear comfortable clothing and if wearing shoes make sure that they are flat shoes with space for your toes to spread; a yoga mat is helpful.
