COLOURFUL DREAMS (1974)- Arthouse for All-Ages!!

Colourful Dreams (Värvilised unenäod, 1974) is a kaleidoscopic portrait of childhood wonder, blurring the boundaries between magic and reality through playful camerawork and an evocative early score by legendary composer Arvo Pärt.

This rare Estonian masterpiece, newly restored in 4K, runs 62 minutes and is directed by Virve Aruoja and Jaan Tooming. The film is appropriate for all ages and features English subtitles. Doors open at 7:00 PM; the film begins at 7:15 PM. Popcorn included.

Little Kati spends her summer at her grandmother’s home, where the village, animals, flowers, wind, and stones become her playmates. She conjures the sun and floats above fields of flowers in a world where reality and imagination have no boundaries.
