Center for Health and Learning designs programs, training, and courses for professionals. Our featured programs are:
• Vermont Suicide Prevention Center — https://vtspc.org – This non-profit is part of an important network of organizations building alliances and spreading knowledge on suicide prevention in Vermont, including through the VT Suicide Prevention Coalition and Vermont Zero Suicide, and with local and national partners.
• Umatter® — www.Umatter.org – The Umatter® training suite educates youth and young adults, and those professionals who work with youth and young adults, on how to recognize when someone is having a mental health crisis and how to provide support. Umatter® is a program born in Vermont that is now offering services nationwide.
For 25 years, the Center for Health and Learning has provided in-person training and, for the last 3 years, has transitioned to offering additional education opportunities online through live-facilitated online training and asynchronous courses, many offering CEU credits for professionals.
