BUHS Spring Players present She Kills Monsters. The BUHS Players announce their upcoming spring play, She Kills Monsters, Young Adventurers Edition, by Qui Ngyuen. She Kills Monsters tells the story of high schooler Agnes Evans, who stumbles upon her sister’s Dungeons & Dragons notebook and finds herself catapulted into a journey of discovery in the imaginary world. Agnes embarks on an action-packed quest to save her sister’s soul, coming face to face with lazy ogres, homicidal fairies, blood thirsty cheerleaders and, of course, a dragon.
The cast features Lila Armour-Jones as Tilly Evans, Marian Wojcik as Agnes Evans, and Leo Mousseau as Chuck Biggs. The incredible ensemble cast includes Kaitlyn Blouin, Tess Bogart, Bramblestar, Chris Brewer, T Contakos, Levi Healey, Lincoln Hurley, Kyle Girard, Moyra Killian, Dominic Johnson, AJ Kuusinen, Sam McVety, Nyx Miller, John Mosher, Chekina Pemba, Cyrus Smith, Dakota Vonfeldt, and Griffin Woodruff. The show is directed by Michelle Page, with Christopher Rose as the Fight Director and Technical Director. Charlize Forthfer and Kaylee Unruh serve as the Stage Managers, and Cyrus Smith is the Fight Captain. The costume crew, led by Allison Ackerman-Hovis, includes Madeline Berube, Grayce Callahan, Rei Carpenter-Ranquist, Vivian Elliott, Raven Grabel, Chloe O’Connell, Mason Swinburne, Bella Taylor, Dylan Taylor, and Ely Zamore-Cohen.
Performances will be held on April 19 – 20, 2024, at 7 p.m. in the BUHS Auditorium.
Tickets are $10 each, and BUHS students and staff are eligible for one free ticket.
