Boogie Down Kids (BDK) ~ An All-ages Dance Party for Kids and their Grown-ups…in the Winston Prouty Center gym!!!

With DJs Selector D and Nikos spinning uplifting tunes on the wheels of steel and a Versatile Styles 45 minute hip-hop class with Shadow Dancer!

There will be hula hooping, balloons, snacks, face painting and lots of free play!

Everybody is welcomed and encouraged to come dance together at this free event, from the youngest to the eldest, smallest to the tallest!

Let’s celebrate the earth and all her species!

2:00 – 2:15 What is a DJ? Arrive and explore

2:15 – 3:00 A Versatile Styles hip-hop class for all taught by Shadow Dancer featuring a Soul Train line for everyone to express their unique moves

3:00 – 4:00 dance and play with hula hoops and face painting

4:00 – 5:00 Everyone will sing “Happy Birthday” to all of the April babies, and then free dance and play with balloons

Bonus: The Village Closet will be open the whole time! The closet is connected to the gym, and so everyone can browse and find some new free threads, books, toy and gear for babies and kids ❤

This is a warm, safe, inclusive space, with light snacks and refreshments provided ❤ Everyone is welcome, let’s dance together!

The event is located in the Winston Prouty Gym – 60 Austine Drive.
