First Annual Tweed Ride + Picnic
(also known as the John Moises Fabulous Fur and Tweed Ride)

John Moises, proprietor of the Andrews Inn (the first LGBT bar in Vermont) was known for his fabulous outfits, his fur coat not withstanding. So to honor him and to give us a chance to dress to impress too, we’re having our own fabulous bike ride.

A tweed ride is a causal slow communal ride where bike riders dress in vintage attire. But we’re not here to be be sticklers on fashion, so when we say dress to impress, we will let you decide what that means!

All styles are welcome.

All families are welcome. Helmets encouraged.

Ride kicks off in the Square near the Andrews Inn memorial sign, heading out at 11:30 am.

End point edit. We’ll end at the Way Center near the train station after a casual double ride through town for a BYOP (Bring Your Own Picnic)

Bring something from home or grab something from one of the local shops. Ciao Popolo will have an option to order box lunch ahead of time. Rockingham Roasters, Flat Iron Coffee, Moon Dog Cafe will all be open to grab something as well.
