Join us for a high-energy night of music featuring Apes of the State, Rent Strike, and Myles Bullen—three acts bringing unique styles and powerful messages to The Stone Church in Brattleboro, VT.
Lineup:
- Apes of the State – This independent folk-punk band from Lancaster, PA, combines DIY ethics with a mandolin-driven sound. Known for their emotionally charged songs, Apes of the State explores love, heartbreak, student debt, addiction, and more. Their latest release, They Can’t Kill Us All (2023), cements their political stance while staying true to their acoustic origins.
- Rent Strike – With a fiercely independent spirit, Rent Strike’s music is a call to action and a burst of rebellion. Their latest album, NOW, addresses the disillusionment of modern life and unearths hope, resistance, and joy amidst the chaos.
- Myles Bullen – Portland, Maine’s genre-fluid art-poet and punk rapper, Myles Bullen brings deeply personal songs touching on mental health, addiction, identity, and grief. Touring widely in the US and Europe, Myles released timetokill with Fake Four Inc., delivering passion and poetry in every performance.
