An Evening of Choro and Samba

OCT32026
7:30 PM – 9:00 PM
Marlboro Music Dining Hall

Choro Camp New England (CCNE) is one of North America’s premier music camps devoted to Brazilian música popular — including choro, samba and forró. This year CCNE is happening in southern VT, on the campus of the former Marlboro College. The event wraps up with a grand finale concert by the faculty, which includes the 7-member group, Agua de Moringa with Mariana Baltar, from Rio de Janeiro (pictured). They are joined by celebrated clarinetist Anat Cohen, Vitor Goncalves on accordion and Skye Soto Steele on violin and rabeca. Come enjoy an evening of world-class Brazilian roots music, right here in the hills of Vermont.
