The 47th Annual Putney Craft Tour returns this Thanksgiving weekend, November 28–30, 2025, from 10 AM to 5 PM each day. This beloved Vermont tradition invites visitors into the working studios of painters, potters, jewelers, weavers, glassblowers, cheesemakers, and woodworkers throughout scenic Putney.

Founded in 1978, the tour has grown into one of the nation’s oldest and most respected open studio events, inspiring similar tours across the country. Guests can meet the makers, ask questions, watch demonstrations, and discover one-of-a-kind holiday gifts while enjoying the natural beauty of southern Vermont.

This year features nearly two dozen artists across mediums—from glass and ceramics to textiles and cheese making. Visitors can plan their own route using the interactive map and discover why the Putney Craft Tour remains a thankful celebration of creativity and community spirit.
