There are also plenty of opportunities for volunteering, as always, including trail work days. The first one is happening just before our Winter Kickoff event:

Brattleboro Outing Club Work Bee #1 – Saturday, December 2nd, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm (rain date on Sunday December 3rd)

Brattleboro Outing Club Work Bee #2 – Saturday, December 9th, 10:00am to 2:00 pm (rain date on Sunday December 9th)

SAVE THE DATE FOR REGISTRATION

The BOC Ski and Snowshoe registration will open on December 1.  Please register online at:  https://brattleborooutingclub.org/cross-country-skiing

If you have any trouble registering or prefer to register by mail, please email skiboc802@gmail.com after December 1, 2023.

Membership fees make it possible for us to operate our hut, maintain the ski/snowshoe and grooming equipment and provide top quality groomed trails.  The fees also go towards the cost of plowing/sanding and leasing the Brattleboro Country Club property. Donations at the time of registration are appreciated. They help us cover rising costs.

We like what the Farmer’s Almanac is predicting for winter in our region: cold and snowy says their Winter Outlook Map!

The BOC trails offer not only excellent cross-country skiing, but also fantastic snowshoe hiking trails, and a designated groomed trail for romping with your dog.

There’s a good chance we’ll have snow early in the valley and late into the season, but even if we don’t, your membership comes with a one-day trail pass to all the Nordic Centers participating in the Ski Vermont Cross Country Reciprocal Program (a $400+ value!). Learn more.

As always, thank you for reading, and we hope to see you out on the trails soon!
