A new collaboration with the Boys & Girls Club of Brattleboro!
Make something real this summer! If you like building things and want to take your skills to the next level, then this camp is for you. Spend a week in a professional woodshop making cool things out of wood.
This youth empowerment camp offers a STEM-based curriculum in fundamental carpentry skills while also exposing students to careers in the trades. Students will complete several woodworking projects that they will take home with them. Tools like the bandsaw, scroll saw, drill press, power sanders, and a range of hand tools will be explored. Whether you’re an experience builder and want to improve your skills, or a true beginner, this program is for you!
Monday – Friday, August 4 – 8 | 9am – 12pm
Location: Camp starts and ends at the Boys & Girls Club of Brattleboro. Student transportation (within walking distance) between the BGCB and HatchSpace is supervised.
Cost: $150. Students do not need to be a member of the Boys & Girls Club to participate!
