Many remember Goldston from her ’90s tours with Nirvana and her unforgettable appearance on the band’s MTV Unplugged in New York album. Her diverse musical collaborations include artists like Cat Power and Earth, showcasing her unique ability to bring genres together. This free event promises to be a delightful blend of art and music that shouldn’t be missed!
In a nod to Vermont’s rich musical heritage, the Vermont Historical Society has launched an exhibit highlighting the state’s early songwriting legacy. “Vermont’s Tunebook Tradition: Composers, Compilers & Singers of Psalmody (1790-2025)” showcases seven tunebooks that shed light on the state’s musical roots, with stories of musicians spanning over two centuries. This intriguing exhibit can be explored at the Vermont History Museum in Montpelier until December.
