Celebrate Folk/Roots Music with Rani Arbo & daisy mayhem at Next Stage Arts

PUTNEY, VT – Next Stage Arts and Twilight Music are thrilled to present Rani Arbo & daisy mayhem, one of New England’s most beloved folk/roots quartets, on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at 7:30 PM. Known for their genre-defying sound, uplifting performances, and inventive use of everyday objects as percussion instruments, this promises to be an unforgettable evening of music, camaraderie, and joy.

The Band: Rani Arbo & daisy mayhem

Over the past 20 years, Rani Arbo & daisy mayhem have earned their reputation as trailblazers in American roots music. Their sound weaves together 4-part harmonies, fiddle, acoustic and electric guitars, bass, and an array of percussive instruments fashioned from household items like cardboard boxes, tin cans, and bottle-cap rattles.

Their performances are more than concerts—they are celebrations of life, music, and community. Whether at major festivals like the Newport Folk Festival or smaller intimate venues, the band’s infectious energy leaves audiences humming, hopeful, and renewed.

A Journey Through American Roots

With their unique blend of musical styles, Rani Arbo & daisy mayhem blur the boundaries of American roots music. From lively bluegrass barnstormers to sultry swing, soulful gospel to bluesy folk-rock, their music celebrates tradition while infusing it with fresh, original energy.

Highlights include:

🎵 Reimagined Classics: Artful interpretations of a mix of old-time, gospel, and folk-rock gems.
