Dan “Rudi” Ruddell and his partner, Lisa Kippen, suffered a devastating loss when their home in Tunbridge was destroyed by fire on November 28, 2023. Ruddell, a musician known for his involvement in local bluegrass bands, lost his beloved 1930s Gibson L-00 guitar, while Kippen, an artist, lost all her work and materials. In response, the local community has organized a benefit concert titled “Mountain Songs: A Benefit Concert for Rudi and Lisa” at the Chandler Center for the Arts in Randolph on January 31, 2024.
