TIFFY / All Feels / Afterthought
Hailed in the Boston Globe as “full of pealing guitars and forthright lyrics, all covered in a layer of fuzz“, TIFFY is led by multi-instrumentalist, Asian-American artist Tiffany Sammy. Heavily influenced by bedroom pop and 90s alt rock distilled through her compositional magic, her hook-loaded confessional songwriting recalls the dusky, kaleidoscopic musical approach of indie rock contemporaries Speedy Ortiz and Jay Som with irresistible melodies that harken to peak-era Weezer. Her latest EP I Wanted To Know releases July 10th via Repeating Cloud and Totally Real Records. I Wanted To Know is another layer in TIFFY’s dream rock world established from her 2024 EP 2 and 2023 debut LP So Serious, with themes outlining the tumultuous path through social media, social disconnection, heartbreak and the drive for achievement. Her music has been featured in FADER, Paste, NPR, Flood Magazine. With countless shows under her belt, she’s established herself as a formidable live presence in the Northeast music scenes.
All Feels makes melancholic indie rock, combining a lo-fi pop aesthetic with nostalgic melodies. Their lush songs are fueled by longing, introspection and somewhat sarcastic assessments on modern life.
Led by longtime western Massachusetts DIY devotee, Candace Clement (Footings, Bunny’s A Swine) and joined by bassist Will Meyer (Stoner Will & the Narks, Bucket), guitarist Noah Dowd (True Jackie), guitarist and vocalist Kate Dowd (True Jackie, Ex-Temper) and drummer Jon Shina (Jon Shina, ICICL), All Feels casts a wide sonic net that fits basement shows and larger stages alike — bringing their soundscape of dazzling, surprising stunner vocals and dream pop adjacent jams to any space where people share a passion for live music.
Afterthought is a five piece high school rock band fusing other genres with shoegaze. Their music moves between soft immersive soundscapes and explosive bursts of energy. With two vocalists, unique guitar textures, driving bass, and intricate drums, afterthought creates a sound that keeps fans of all genres guessing.
Doors are at 7pm and music will start at 730. This show is all ages and seating is limited and also first come first served.
