Will Anansi succeed in discovering the fifth element of the world? What will Anansi learn on her journey? Anansi is a well-known West African folk hero famous as a trickster and a shapeshifter able to change from spider to human to animal. Percussion, acting, poetry, and movement will be featured in our own original Anansi tale.
Theatre Adventure actors (online and in-person) create theater that turns traditional roles upside down, present a fresh take on familiar stories, and invite audiences to broaden their thinking about individuals with disabilities.
All performances are sensory-friendly, with American Sign Language interpretation provided. The venue is fully wheelchair accessible.
