The Grammar School Medieval Faire
The Grammar School Medieval Faire
On Saturday, October 7, from 10 am to 3 pm, The Grammar School in Putney, Vermont, will transform our campus into a medieval village once again as we host our annual Medieval Faire. This event has been a family favorite for 35 years!
Admission to the Faire is free! Tickets or passes are required for rides and some activities. There are many free attractions and shows to enjoy.
Enjoy the festivities while the royal court presides over the Faire. Kids can ride a flying dragon, practice a joust, battle a knight, and more! Fairgoers can also shop for goods in the village market and enjoy a range of live entertainment. You may even be knighted by the King and Queen!
New this year: Knights from Vermont Armored Combat will put on live performances. Also new this year is the participation of Food Trucks! We’re thrilled that Crossroads and The HAngry Travler will be providing delicious food for our fairgoers.
Other highlights this year include:
- Artisan demonstrations
- Archery
- Climbing walls
- Sir Lancelot’s flying horse
- Pony rides
- Games for younger children at Merlin’s Midway
- Candy-throwing catapult
- Dragon treasure hunt
Admission to the Faire is free!
All-day ride passes and individual tickets are available for sale. Unlimited all-day passes are $25 for the first pass, $20 for additional passes; individual tickets are also available.
