Shred4Nate Memorial Alpine Race

On March 14, 2026, the Stratton Foundation will be hosting the 8th annual #Shred4Nate memorial alpine race at the Stratton Mountain Resort, dedicated to mental health programs for children, schools, families, and communities across southern Vermont. All U12 to Masters are welcome.

This year, we supplemented our efforts and impact by offering a pre-race Youth Mental Health First Aid training session, which certified 25 professionals from five local schools. Our annual February candy gram campaign reached over 1200 youth with Shred4Nate mental wellness messages. We also participated in the call to action efforts at Stratton’s initial screening of the Alterra Mountain Company’s Paradise Paradox film about the reality of mental health in mountain towns.

Proceeds benefit The Stratton Community Foundation, caring about the health and well-being of youth across the region. The mission is to address the challenges faced by children in need and to provide opportunities to learn and succeed through innovative programs that support hunger, basic necessities, health, and education. Every child deserves a strong foundation.
