Midnight Betty w/ Mr. Bill
Midnight Betty is a Vermont-based duo of musicians, Chelle Martinez (vocals, guitar) and Oriana Barros (vocals, banjo, keyboard), offering a diverse range of covers and originals that blend folk, country, indie, and pop genres. Their music is adorned with shimmering vocal harmonies, inspired by the styles of Lucius, The Wailin’ Jennys, and The Secret Sisters. While their songs range from woeful to whimsical, Midnight Betty has developed a signature style that makes each arrangement and performance uniquely their own.
Joined by their fantastic band — Dave Schottland (lead guitar), Paul Martinez (bass), and Josh Francis (drums) — Midnight Betty will get you rockin’ and rollin’, laughing and crying.
Mr. Bill is a local bluegrass band based out of Keene, New Hampshire. They play a mix of traditional and contemporary bluegrass music, along with original music and a grassification of some familiar favorites from the 1960s and 1970s. The band consists of
Steve “Zuber” Armstrong on bass, Matt Atkinson on guitar and vocals, John Meehan on mandolin and vocals, and Rich Sullivan on five-string banjo.
