The early rumblings of the band Match began during the lockdown of 2020 in Brattleboro, Vermont, with composer and multi-instrumentalist Aaron Chesley asking his friend and fellow musician Gabe MacFarland to write some lyrics about kids wanting to go out and ride bikes against the backdrop of the horrendous predicament society was experiencing. Subsequently, songwriters Jenny Crowell and Aaron began a long period of composing and recording, culminating in an album of material to be released in early 2024. Gabe and Stefan Amidon were soon added on bass and drums to complete the live band. We appreciate your help in sharing our “space age relationship songs to help you navigate the void” with the rest of the world. This show at the Stone Church will be our debut performance. Dutch Experts to open!
