Making with Mom: A Mother’s Day Workshop for Two

It’s Bring Your Mom to the Workshop Day! Celebrate Mother’s Day together in this beginner woodworking class designed for pairs. You and your Mom will work side by side to design and create useful, beautiful charcuterie boards. 

Learn. Participants will learn safe and approachable woodworking techniques while designing and cutting their boards. Instruction includes using the bandsaw and drill press, refining shapes and surfaces with a variety of shop sanders, and applying a food-safe, natural oil finish to bring out the beauty of the wood grain.

Make. Each participant will take home a high-quality charcuterie board in their own custom design, crafted from a selection of beautiful local hardwoods.

Cost per pair: $165 non-members: $140.25 members (plus an additional $30 materials fee). Note: register just once for 2 participants.
