You will be guided step-by-step how to create a unique art box from raw lumber to final product using most of the woodworking tools in the shop, and learning numerous basic and clever woodworking techniques along the way.

Students will learn:
Machines – Safe use of the table saw, thickness planer, jointer, miiter saw, bandsaw, router table, drill press, and electric sanders.
Techniques – How to dimension lumber, glue panels, resaw wood, clamping and gluing basics and tricks, and box making techniques.

Each student will go home with a unique hardwood art box of their own design.

2 Sessions: August 2 & 3
Saturday & Sunday | 10am – 5pm | Class will break for a 1/2 hour lunch.
