Learn to CNC: Programmer Course
Up your woodworking game and get started using CNC (computer numerical controlled) software and equipment in this class designed to get students up and running on our machines independently. Learn how this powerful tool can be applied across your woodworking projects, from furniture making to sign-making.
Learn. This hands-on course at HatchSpace is designed to teach you how to use Vectric VCarve Pro software and operate our professional CNC machines, including the ShopBot PRS Alpha and Phantom Atomic 4×4 ATC. Over two sessions, you’ll learn to create everything from basic profile cuts to 3D carvings, learning toolpath creation and machine operation in tandem. The course is structured with a mix of programming instruction and machine time, ensuring you get plenty of hands-on experience.

- Access to our makerspace license to Vectric VCarve pro v. 12 to install on your home machine.
- Video lesson summaries will be included for each module.
- Optional demo and Q&A Session on Friday, April 17 from 1pm – 4pm
