Intro to Woodworking: Level 2
If you’ve taken any of our Intro to Woodworking: Level 1 classes or have basic shop experience, this next-level course is a great way to continue building your skills. You’ll deepen your understanding of wood as a material, get more time on key machines, and explore new techniques that bring precision and confidence to your projects.
Learn. In this class we refresh your understanding of wood movement, characteristics of the material, and basic milling practices. We’ll use a few new techniques on the table saw and add a few sanding machines to the mix to enrich your shop chops. You’ll leave this class with a solid foundation for continued shop work and some added experience on the table saw with new joinery techniques.
Make. You’ll build a hardwood step stool, a practical project that can be disassembled and packed flat.
3 Sessions: April 1, 8 & 15 | This is a 3-part class.

Cost: $205 non-members; $174.25 members (plus an additional $20 materials fee.)
