Henhouse Prowlers With Max Wareham & Second Cousin

Henhouse Prowlers bring more than two decades of bluegrass, Americana, storytelling, and four-part harmony to the Stone Church, with Max Wareham and Second Cousin.

Across their recordings and enthralling live performances, the Henhouse Prowlers move freely between modern Americana, classic country, bluegrass standards, and international music shaped by their work as cultural diplomats. Their latest record, Unravel, was produced by Stephen Mougin of the Sam Bush Band.

The group’s live show highlights intricate instrumentation, compelling songwriting, and the shared humanity at the center of their music.

Max Wareham is a Boston-based banjo player, songwriter, and author. A longtime member of the Peter Rowan Bluegrass Band, he has toured nationally with Rowan and performed at festivals including Telluride Bluegrass Festival, MerleFest, and RockyGrass. His music brings traditional bluegrass together with a lo-fi indie-folk sensibility.

Second Cousin joins the bill for an evening of roots-focused live music.
