Guilford Church Homemade Pie Sale
A spring tradition, the Memorial Day Weekend Pie Sale of the Guilford Community Church will be held on Saturday morning, May 25 from 9-noon at the corner of Route 5 and Guilford Center Road.
This spring, church volunteers are setting a record for the numbers of varieties of homemade pies they are baking. Traditional favorites such as apple, blueberry, cherry, raspberry, rhubarb, pumpkin, custard and pecan are for sale, but also cranberry cherry, coconut custard, chocolate cream, coconut cream, and a rich, candy-like Prince of Wales pie with a carmel/fudge filling will be for sale for $20. There will also be a limited number of gluten-free pies.
All proceeds benefit the church, which actively supports over 15 local programs that serve the community including Hospice and Meals on Wheels. Cash, check or Venmo payments are accepted.
Take 1-91 to Vermont Exit 1 (Brattleboro) south on US Route 5 just past Guilford Country Store in front of Richmond Auto Repair at 14 Guilford Center Rd.
