Come through Marigold for a warming night with two Brattleboro-based indie groups showcasing music from the far-flung tributaries of the genre:
Fool And The World plays their distinctive brew of “cosmic carnival rock”, touching on elements of prog, pop, and experimental jazz-metal on top of the familiar sonic bedrock of folk-punk rigor. Mimi Fang, a songwriter who deals in “angsty power-pop for the chronically sincere”, opens the evening.
