Experimental Synth Night
A night of queer synth stylings by local and traveling artists, including dark wave from Burlington, ritual electronic summoning from Mass, and some strangeness from NYC.
Experimental Synth Night arrives in Brattleboro with a lineup built for listeners who crave the fringes of electronic music. The bill features four artists who each push synth-driven sound in wildly different directions: Public Speaking, the NYC project known for blending soulful vocals with found objects and electronics; Burial Woods, a Vermont darkwave/synthpop explorer with a moody, atmospheric edge; Neonach, a Massachusetts act weaving ritualistic, droning textures; and Haitlin, a Vermont vocalist whose work bends experimental art-sorcery into electronic forms. Together, they create a rare, genre-defiant evening where performance becomes both soundscape and experiment.
The show takes place on Friday, December 12th, at The Buoyant Heart, a local art space hosting boundary-pushing performances. For fans of darkwave, experimental electronics, or anything off-center, this event offers a chance to hear artists who treat live music as a living, shape-shifting medium.
Enjoy some winter weirdness!
