Ensemble Amphion Baroque presents “Bigwigs of the Baroque,” featuring works by J.S. Bach, C.P.E. Bach, Vivaldi, Rameau, and Rebel, performed on period instruments.
Led by Vermont-based flutist Jesse Lepkoff, the ensemble is made up of world-class musicians who specialize in the music of the Baroque era. Using historically informed techniques and performing on period instruments, Ensemble Amphion Baroque captures the spirit and sound of the 18th century—music of great passion and style.
In addition to Lepkoff (flute, recorder), members of the ensemble include Emlyn Ngai (violin), Peter Sykes (harpsichord), and Reinmar Seidler (cello).
