BIPOC Maker Workshop: Make a Wooden Cutting Board
Co-hosted by The Root Social Justice Center and HatchSpace, our BIPOC Maker Workshops are an opportunity for anyone who self-identifies as Black, Indigenous, or a Person of Color to come find and create community around woodworking. All workshops are free, and designed for beginners – no woodworking experience is necessary!

Build your own wooden cutting board using common woodworking machines and finishing techniques. Learn essential woodshop safety basics in a supportive environment perfect for beginners.
Cost: Free and open to the BIPOC community. Registration is required to reserve your seat, but drop-ins may be accepted if space is available.
