BIPOC Maker Workshop: Laser Engraved Coasters

Co-hosted by The Root Social Justice Center and HatchSpace, our BIPOC Maker Workshops are an opportunity for anyone who self-identifies as Black, Indigenous, or a Person of Color to come find and create community around woodworking. All workshops are free, and designed for beginners – no woodworking experience is necessary!

>> Monday, March 16, from 5:30 to 8:00pm

Featured Activity: Laser Engraved Coasters
Craft a set of wooden coasters and then use an xTool laser engraver to etch a custom design of your choice. You’ll learn both basic woodworking skills and the fundamentals of laser engraving in this fun, hands-on workshop.

Cost: Free and open to the BIPOC community. Registration is required to reserve your seat, but drop-ins may be accepted if space is available.
