BIPOC+ Family Workshop

Co-hosted by The Root Social Justice Center and HatchSpace, our BIPOC Maker Workshops are an opportunity for anyone who self-identifies as Black, Indigenous, or a Person of Color to come find and create community around woodworking. All workshops are free, and designed for beginners – no woodworking experience is necessary!

Featured Activity: Make a Wooden Crankie Box
Come to HatchSpace for a fun, hands-on family workshop in an inclusive and supportive environment where you and your young one can gain some shop experience! This workshop is open to participants ages 6 and up, with a required one adult guardian per child. Space is limited, so be sure to register early for this creative, kinetic activity!

Open to: Youth age 6+ of all identities and their BIPOC+ and/or ally families

Cost: Free to participants. Registration strongly encouraged as space is limited. Drop-ins will be accepted on a space available basis.
