É.T.É – Keeping Traditions Alive with a Modern Twist

With their infectious energy and unique, contemporary take on traditional music, Élisabeth Moquin (fiddle, step-dancing, vocals), Thierry Clouette (bouzouki, podorythmie, vocals), and Élisabeth Giroux (cello, vocals) have taken the Québécois folk scene by storm. Winners of the OPUS prize for “Discovery of the Year 2017-2018,” this trio blends original compositions and innovative arrangements with traditional Québec and Acadian repertoire, creating a one-of-a-kind folk experience that radiates warmth and celebration.

Yann Falquet with Emily Troll & Eric Boodman – A New Sound in Québécois Folk

Best known as a founding member of the acclaimed trio Genticorum, Yann Falquet has honed a distinctive guitar style for Québécois music, drawing from Brittany, Scandinavia, Ireland, and North America. His performances are rooted in deep tradition yet refreshingly innovative, bringing together intricate rhythms, expressive melodies, and rich harmonies. Joining him on stage are Emily Troll (fiddle, feet percussion) and Eric Boodman (accordion, podorythmie), two talented multi-instrumentalists who infuse their performances with passion and authenticity.
