Our mission is to preserve historic properties through creative, sustainable uses for public enjoyment, education, and inspiration. We manage five historic VT homes as vacation rentals, including Rudyard Kipling’s Naulakha, where The Jungle Book was written. Rental income and charitable contributions help us lovingly maintain these historic homes, produce place-based educational programs, and save additional historic properties.
The Landmark Trust USA is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit.
