Are you an adventurous foodie? At Leda’s Kitchen, I craft weekly-ish heat-and-eat meals you won’t find anywhere else in Brattleboro or the surrounding areas. From the classic South Indian curries of Dosa Kitchen to Ethiopian chicken stew and kasha varnishkes, each dish offers a unique culinary experience. Plus, there’s always a vegan option, and the entire menu is gluten-free!

My menus feature curries, stews, nourishing soups, and flavors from around the world, all made with high-quality, organic ingredients and free-range meats. Everything is designed to reheat beautifully, maintaining (or even improving!) its original deliciousness.

Pictured here is Pork Chili Colorado from this week’s menu, free-range pork shoulder slowly simmered in a vibrant, deeply savory, slightly fruity sauce made from mild Mexican guajillo and other chilis.

This week’s menu is packed with vibrant flavors from Ethiopia, Mexico, and beyond—gluten-free, made with free-range meats, and featuring local, organic ingredients whenever possible.

🌶️ DORO WAT (Ethiopian Chicken Stew) – Free-range chicken in a rich onion gravy infused with Ethiopian berbere spice blend, featuring smoked chilis, coriander, cardamom, and ginger. The addition of organic ghee makes this dish even more luscious! (GF, DF by request) $26

At Leda’s Kitchen, I draw on my experiences as a private chef, cookbook author, and co-owner of Dosa Kitchen Food Truck to create delicious, globally inspired meals that fit seamlessly into your life. 

I am the author of Cultured Foods for Your Kitchen and, with Nash Patel, Dosa Kitchen: Recipes for India’s Favorite Street Food. Over the past decade, our food truck, Dosa Kitchen, has attracted food lovers from Boston to New York, who praise our dosas as the best in the US.

Every dish I prepare reflects my journey in publishing and culinary journey. While managing editor at Penguin Books, I worked on Rebecca Wood’s influential Whole Foods Encyclopedia, which inspired me to complete the Chef’s Training Program at the Natural Gourmet Institute in New York City. This path led me to become a private chef and work with notable cookbook authors, including Laila Ali and four MasterChef winners.
